Wedding card making

I used my vanilla ink for the first time ever, over a year since I purchased it, for the first time this month.

cardmaking, papercraft, vanilla ink, stamping

Remember when I talked about a wedding in the historic Ft. Dodge theater? You are looking at the beginnings of the card that went to the couple. I stamped an image from my Stampin’ Up! set on purple cardstock. Their wedding invitation was handmade, and included purple paper, purple ribbon, and stamping, so I thought a handmade card would be appreciated. Love that. I cut the stamped image from the cardstock and stuck it to the inside of a blank white card. I didn’t have time to make the serendipity border that I wanted — that would have looked sharp — but the card was very sweet with two little stamped birdies on a branch. They were kissing birdies. “I” of GAIN exclaimed, “I didn’t know you had birds! Those are adorable!”
