I can’t believe how fast the time has flown this month. I get in the baking mood when the nights come quickly without daylight savings time. I believe that baking at home is MUCH more economical than buying from a bakery. Trent from The Simple Dollar and my co-host Sara at Learning the Frugal Life would also agree. Other Iowa bloggers also make a case for birthday cakes and many of their rolls and desserts. I made poppyseed strudel Sunday night and it was gobbled up fresh and warm from the oven in about twenty minutes. My husband was very disappointed to miss out.
