I host the Frugal Tuesday Tip, and today I’m writing about Swagbucks. Swagbucks is a search engine that I have used to earn fun things like T shirts, Starbucks gift cards — I love my coffee — as well as skins for your phone, kids stuff, greeting cards, jewelry, and all other sorts of stuff.
I’ve made it my default search engine to make it easier to earn swagbucks quickly, and I’ve read about people using Swagbucks specifically for Christmas gifts. I’ve written about entering giveaways as way to get stuff. While they are fun, I have more control with Swagbucks. I normally do internet searches, so using Swagbucks doesn’t take the extra time that giveaways do. Swag prices range from 5 to 85,000 Swagbucks; items go on sale and clearance (I’m all over that). Swag is sent via U.S.P.S. One gal gets about $2000 worth of Swagbucks per year.

There is special promotion for March, too, called March Swagness, a play on “March Madness.” It’s all about you earning bonus Swag Bucks while doing all of the things you’d already do, like search the internet. Every day they’ll give you an earning goal, which you’ll find on their homepage. As you earn Swag Bucks throughout the day, that meter will fill up and when it’s full, you’ll have earned your bonus for the day. The bonus will always be 10% of that day’s goal.
March Swagness starts on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, when the goal will be 50 Swag Bucks. Here is my referral link again http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/juliecache.
