Since we are waiting for warm weather to finish up the laundry area of our kitchen (we have to move the exterior doorway), we’re updating the front hallway. It was formerly a cream colored hall with plenty of orange crayon streaks, pencil markings, and dark patches from dirty feet. You’d think four kids had lived here for a few years! It was time to freshen up.
After one coat of paint, Behr’s Mushroom Bisque, I found the wall to be plain. Very plain. I’ve always wanted to dress up this wall.
One idea I had was painting cream colored blocks to frame our clock and a couple other hanging pieces. I found masking tape and freehanded the blocks. My husband likes the look. What do you think?
