I couldn’t be happier! My snowdrops opened a week and a half ago. This week my crocuses appeared. Today the temps are in the 50’s, and the bees are filling their pollen baskets.
This bee tried to get inside an unopened crocus. Luckily, the rabbits haven’t eaten the flowers. Yet.
I see more unopened crocuses in my little front yard patch, and know there are more nearby that will come later. My birch tree is also close to blooming. When I talked to Jolene a couple weeks ago, I thought I’d be feeding the bees after getting pollen from the store. Guess I don’t have to make that trip now.
