I just learned about Busted Halo and it’s Advent photo challenge. Its purpose is to
stay connected to the hope, joy and occasional peppermint mocha that make this time of year so special!
Without a smartphone, I can’t participate via Instagram, however I can do this on my blog. Today the topic is a favorite Christmas drink. Warm drinks definitely bring hope while I’m making them and joy while I’m drinking them. I’d have to say that AE eggnog was the drink of choice as a youth. Since dairy makes my stomach hurt nowadays, I would have to say a spoonful of hot chocolate mix in my coffee:
the cup came from my high school friend. we visited her in seattle for an overnight back in 2012.
In other news, we lit one candle in our Advent wreath, and the kids are still doubting that it is REALLY Advent already.
