FO: Knitting again

I had some time all to myself one recent weekend while the men took a winter campout. I took charge of the remote control and watched a fascinating Marie Curie documentary and knitted. I decided that it was time to make dishcloths. Almost an annual ordeal, my dishcloths literally get worn out. I like to use a new cloth every day, so having at least seven is a requirement in my house.

The only time I can knit is during TV time

It was fun to see the ball band for this kitchen cotton — a huge off-brand skein for $4 in a patriotic colorway. The coloration makes the patterns hard to see in photos but choosing a nubby, not smooth, texture is important for my cleaning.
