Cutouts with Ben

Ben, holding honey comb during a ceiling cutout of honey bees

Cutout is the term we use for honey bee colonies that are ‘cut out’ from a built structure. You can see Ben here, performing a cutout from the ceiling of a house.

In this Learning Circle, the property owners will let us use their barn for a live, hands-on demonstration  of how to remove bees in leiu of the standard bee removal fee. The bees have been there for years!

Our Cutout Learning Circle will be held:

Saturday, July 8, 2023

9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Knoxville, IA

Spots are limited to 20 people. A meal and take home supplies are included. $20 deposit required.
